Prayer is essential for spiritual connection and alignment. The Mature Magician maintains a practice of prayer—not asking for things but communicating with the divine, expressing gratitude, and aligning himself with higher purposes. His prayer deepens his spiritual life.

The Manipulator uses prayer to try to get what he wants from God. He treats prayer as manipulation. The Dummy never prays, disconnected from the spiritual dimension. He misses this vital connection. The Mature Magician prays authentically and regularly.

Authentic prayer includes:

Gratitude: The Magician expresses thanks for what he has and what he's received.

Confession: The Magician acknowledges his failures and shortcomings honestly.

Petition: The Magician asks for what he needs, while surrendering to higher wisdom about what's best.

Intercession: The Magician prays for others, holding them in his spiritual awareness.

Listening: The Magician creates space to hear divine guidance and wisdom.

Alignment: The Magician uses prayer to align himself with higher purposes and divine will.

Prayer might be formal or informal, spoken or silent, individual or communal. The Magician's prayer is marked by authenticity and regularity rather than form.

Prayer does not change God, but it changes him who prays. When the Magician prays regularly, he maintains his connection to the divine and aligns his will with higher purposes.

Certain thoughts are prayers. There are moments when, whatever be the attitude of the body, the soul is on its knees. The Magician who masters prayer becomes someone whose life is infused with spiritual awareness, whose actions are guided by divine wisdom, and whose heart is connected to the sacred.
