Courage: The Lover is willing to try things without knowing how they'll turn out. He risks failure.

Skill: The Lover has developed enough skill that he can improvise well. His spontaneity is grounded in competence.

Playfulness: The Lover approaches improvisation with play rather than anxiety.

Listening: The Lover listens deeply to what's emerging. Improvisation is a conversation with the moment.

Improvisation might mean responding creatively in conversation, adapting plans when circumstances change, or creating art spontaneously. The Lover's improvisation keeps life fresh and alive.

When the Lover can improvise, he's not trapped by plans or scripts. He can respond to life as it unfolds. He dances with reality rather than fighting it.
